The Building
The Henry is a Georgian townhouse (circa 1726) and has no ground-floor bedrooms. The staircase has landings halfway up on each level, with approximately 9 steps to each landing. The upper third floor features a narrow spiral staircase.
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate elevator access due to the listed building’s Georgian architecture.
Breakfast & Food
Yes, a full cooked English breakfast is included for all guests, along with cereal and fruit options. We cater for vegetarian, vegan, and allergen-free diets with advance notice.
Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options are all available, please let us know your requirements when booking or at least the evening before.
Kitchen facilities are generally not available to guests, though we can help with storing medication in the kitchen fridge or heating ready meals in the dining room upon request.
Rooms & Facilities
Standard rooms are located on the third floor and are smaller in size without seating areas. Premier rooms, on the first and second floors, are more spacious with comfortable chairs and generally better views.
Many of our beds can be split into twins (2 x singles) or joined together as a double. Please let us know your preference at time of booking.
All rooms have en-suite or private shower rooms. Please note that only showers are provided – we do not have baths as en-suite facilities.
Yes – free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the whole property.
Yes, every bedroom has a hair dryer.
All bedrooms have tea and coffee-making equipment including a kettle, mugs, and a selection of teas and coffee.
Each guest receives one bath towel and one hand towel. Fresh towels are available on request.
Parking & Transport
The Henry has no private car park. Multiple pay-and-display car parks are available nearby, and Bath’s Park and Ride services run from the outskirts of the city.

Bath Spa station is a maximum of a 5-minute walk from The Henry. The bus station is equally close.
Bookings & Policies
We don’t have a dedicated guest lounge, though our larger Premier rooms feature comfortable seating areas.
Yes – both cots and high chairs are available at no extra charge. Please mention your requirements at the time of booking so we can have everything ready for your arrival.
As a city-centre property, occasional noise is possible, though it is generally uncommon. All front-facing rooms have double-glazed windows to reduce street noise.
Bath has an enormous variety of restaurants, cafes, and pubs to suit all tastes and budgets. We provide a map and personal recommendations to all guests on arrival.
